"She continued to triumph with uncomfortable-in-all-the-right-ways jokes ..."

Jenny Singer, The Forward
DANA Friedman is, in all likelihood, New York's first Orthodox Jewish, transgender comic. Her performances address a wide variety of topics, including many outside the very unusual norms of standup comedy.
During the COVID-19 crisis, she produced and performed in FunOrthodox: An Evening of LGBT+ Jewish Entertainment, and also wrote for the show's host, Mayim Bialik.
Dana produces many live comedy shows including Queernucopia: An Evening of LGBT and Allied Comedy Goddesses and Heathens; Right Down The Middle (East), (no missionaries, just funny positions), which brings together Muslim, Jewish, Israeli, Arab, and Palestinian standup comics; LOL Nidrei (Unforgivably Naughty Jewish Comedy) which was featured in The Forward; and Orthomocks Jews, a Pre-Purim Standup Romp.

Since 2007 Dana has been producer of my podcast, "Hey We're Back". There were no podcasts then, but Dana saw them coming. She is a visionary. Her understanding of comedy and technology is astounding. She would be a tremendous asset for anyone looking for a producer.

Jonathan Katz, Emmy winning comedian
Dana is the consummate producer. She thinks of everything from audience buildingto line-up, promotion, working with the venue, budgets and more. She is a pleasure to work with, and last but not least, she herself has us rolling in the aisles when she does her stand-up! Dana is one of a kind.
